SURPRISE! I’ve signed a contract for a RecipeTin cookbook! But this won’t be just another cookbook……This is going to be a cookbook filled with new recipes YOU ask for.
Let’s make this cookbook OURS!

PS That’s just a mock cover!!
Finally – a cookbook!
This is real – a RecipeTin cookbook is happening! I’m committed – I can’t back out, I’ve signed a publishing contract with Pan Macmillan, a big name publishing house here in Australia.
Excited, nervous, daunted, scared…. all these words come to mind as I sit here, preparing myself for what will be the the most important and biggest project I have ever undertaken in my professional life.
Which brings me to the main purpose of sharing this news….
I want to make this cookbook WITH you, FOR you!
Let’s fill these pages with recipes YOU want! Mostly new, but even some favourites from the website!

I’m going to be completely honest with you. I am under no illusion about how much work it will take to make a cookbook.
So for me to make this cookbook for myself, because, well, you know, it is kind of an ego boost to see your name on a printed book. That’s not enough motivation for me. I don’t deserve it! 😂
If, on the other hand, I make it for you…….. now THAT is what I call motivation. That gets me excited. That is what will give me the incentive to give this cookbook everything I’ve got, to make it the best it can be.
I want to make a cookbook that you will actually use all the time, rather than gathering dust on the bookshelf.
So tell me what you want in our cookbook! What type of recipes, even little details like adding nutrition information, storage and make ahead tips, or key dietary notes (like gluten free).
They will mostly be new recipes that are exclusively made for the cookbook though I will also include some long standing reader favourites from the website!
Let’s make this cookbook together. Leave your cookbook wish list in the comments section below!!
– Nagi x
PS Reminder – this cover is a fake!! 😂 You know full well I am going to ask for your opinion when choosing the real cover. ❤️

Life of Dozer
I know today’s big announcement is all about me, me, me. But that’s no excuse to skip a Dozer update! Here he is, disrespecting my cookbook already. Or possibly just thinks the photo is real food. It could be either. 🙄

Though he has already expressed he is willing and able to help in any way possible with the cookbook. Thanks Dozer! We all know what your “help” involves….

For your cookbook please include a chapter on Aussie Classics. Thanks for all of your (and your team’s) hard work.
any asian dishes, quick and easy dinners, easy sides, yummy vegetables, vegetarian recipes, pasta recipes, and elegant desserts!
Cant imagine a RecipeTin cookbook that doesnt contain the infamous ‘One Pot Greek Chicken and Rice’ recipe [plus its alternative oven-baked method]. The perfect vanilla sponge cake is also essential imo(!!!). Congrats on the cookbook deal, cant wait to get it on my bookshelf!!!!! 🙂
Oven Baked Chicken and Rice – that’s my fave recipe. I can eat on it for days when I make it. Also, I very much appreciate all your adaptation notes for recipes to make them gluten-free, etc., so that would be helpful to include.
A Recipe Tin Eats cookbook is a great idea! I love to cook and you are my go-to every time I need inspiration to try something new. We don’t eat much beef … unlike that one recent person (LOL) so..In your book I would love to see some SE Asian dishes using chicken or seafood. Some make ahead tips and tricks would be helpful too. Good luck!
This will become my favourite cookbook ! Things I love in your posts, all the extras, sides with each dish, nutritional notes, short cuts & substitutions. A challenge in a book, but you’re up to it! My pantry has grown since I subscribed to your site, love trying new things xxx
I love (1) sauces and would make sauces for just about everything if I knew what would work with what (2) salad dressings (3) lots of vegetarian meals and lots of roasted, baked and steamed vegetables (maybe fried too) (4) make ahead and freezer recipes (5) can’t do without Notes at the end especially with substitutions. When I look around the Web many, many recipes don’t give subs so a lot of times I can’t make the meal.
Please include recipes for: CROISSANTS,
ENGLISH MUFFINS,
PITA BREAD.
PUFF PASTRY,
Hi Nagi,
I’d love to see a couple of recipes in the cookbook.
1. A steak & kidney pie with lots of kidney instead of the usual ones that skimp on the kidney.
2. A meat pie that uses hamburger and has lots and lots of gravy.
I enjoy your recipes – keep them coming PLEASE!
Thanks,
Svend
Hi Nagi, congratulations on your recent well-deserved successes. We make something from your website every week! I would love to see a section on salad dressings, with both single-serving and bulk measurements. I make a cup of your Asian sesame dressing every week and it makes it so easy to have a delicious salad whenever we feel like we need a healthy component. It would be awesome to have all these salad dressings on hand so we can mix it up. Thank you!
Recipes I would love to see: Sloppy Joes, Stuffed Peppers, Fish Tacos, and Creamy Mushroom Soup.
Thank you, I know this will be a fantastic cookbook!
Looking for some great creative breakfast recipes from around the world! Nagi, thank you for all your daily recipes. My day isn’t complete without them!
Honestly Nagy, any of your recipes are great. I look forward to your email everyday for something new. You’ve made cooking fun for my husband and myself. However, I would love to see Charlie and recipe recommendations on it’s use and variations. Thanks for making me a better cook!
I am not sure one cookbook would be enough, I love your one pot recipes and think they would be great for working people.
Slow cooked beef stroganoff is great, lasagna, so many Asian type chicken recipes (to many to list)
Good luck with it all, I would definitely buy them as gifts for people, as I always use your web site
The General Tso recipe is so good and would be a great addition to the cookbook. I tell everyone about your recipes. They are easy to follow, easy to find ingredients and the notes are very helpful.
The holiday recipes, please!
Fish recipes and the fabulous white wine sauce
Asian dishes. Especially Pad Thai
Your chicken wing recipe is the bomb! (And the butter chicken recipe 😊)
Soups,salads and sides
International dishes….
Really Nagi, just one cookbook???
Agree, I can’t see one book being enough
Oh wow, I really want to learn to make good stock…recipes and techniques for STOCKS (chicken/veg/beef) would be wonderful.
A second request, if I may: DOG BISCUITS. I’m sure you’ve got some winning recipes for these!
I’m so excited. Can I put in a pre-order now?! 😉
I love RTE recipes & would love to have more recipes for ducks & seafood. I’m desparate for Chinese Roasted Duck recipe Xx.
Thanks Nagi & Team!
CONGRATS!! So hard to decide what to go into OUR cookbook Nagi…everything I tried was a hit!! I would say any lasagna recipe as well as your creamy shrimp pasta !!❤❤❤
