SURPRISE! I’ve signed a contract for a RecipeTin cookbook! But this won’t be just another cookbook……This is going to be a cookbook filled with new recipes YOU ask for.
Let’s make this cookbook OURS!

PS That’s just a mock cover!!
Finally – a cookbook!
This is real – a RecipeTin cookbook is happening! I’m committed – I can’t back out, I’ve signed a publishing contract with Pan Macmillan, a big name publishing house here in Australia.
Excited, nervous, daunted, scared…. all these words come to mind as I sit here, preparing myself for what will be the the most important and biggest project I have ever undertaken in my professional life.
Which brings me to the main purpose of sharing this news….
I want to make this cookbook WITH you, FOR you!
Let’s fill these pages with recipes YOU want! Mostly new, but even some favourites from the website!

I’m going to be completely honest with you. I am under no illusion about how much work it will take to make a cookbook.
So for me to make this cookbook for myself, because, well, you know, it is kind of an ego boost to see your name on a printed book. That’s not enough motivation for me. I don’t deserve it! 😂
If, on the other hand, I make it for you…….. now THAT is what I call motivation. That gets me excited. That is what will give me the incentive to give this cookbook everything I’ve got, to make it the best it can be.
I want to make a cookbook that you will actually use all the time, rather than gathering dust on the bookshelf.
So tell me what you want in our cookbook! What type of recipes, even little details like adding nutrition information, storage and make ahead tips, or key dietary notes (like gluten free).
They will mostly be new recipes that are exclusively made for the cookbook though I will also include some long standing reader favourites from the website!
Let’s make this cookbook together. Leave your cookbook wish list in the comments section below!!
– Nagi x
PS Reminder – this cover is a fake!! 😂 You know full well I am going to ask for your opinion when choosing the real cover. ❤️

Life of Dozer
I know today’s big announcement is all about me, me, me. But that’s no excuse to skip a Dozer update! Here he is, disrespecting my cookbook already. Or possibly just thinks the photo is real food. It could be either. 🙄

Though he has already expressed he is willing and able to help in any way possible with the cookbook. Thanks Dozer! We all know what your “help” involves….

Hi Nagi!
This is so exciting! I am so looking forward to the book!
Here is my request:
Being the only vegetarian in a family of carnivores (and someone who likes to cook nutritious meal without spending too much time in the kitchen) I was wondering if you can include some recipes that are vegetarian or vegan based but can be altered for the carnivores in my family by adding beef/chicken after the fact. In that way, I can prep/cook one meal and then towards the end, after taking some out for me, alter it for the rest for the family by adding the protein.
And lots of pictures of Dozer.
Thank you!
Prakriti
Nagi – I thank you for your wonderful recipes and all your tips on how to be a better cook 💜
I would love to be able to make a lemon meringue pie with crispy meringue! If there’s room for something like this in your book, that would be absolutely fabulous xx
I would love to see some Philippine recipes. Oh a d Dozer should be on the cover also.
Congratulations Nagi, I’m so thrilled for you! I have followed your blog for quite some time, and your recipes are just wonderful. Echoing some previous comments, I would also love to see some tray-bake recipes/skillet pan recipes, curries and lots of vegetable dishes. Congrats again, and enjoy the ride x
I love most of your recipes Nd consequently any should be front and centre in Your book!!
The latest I have cooked are ’smoked sausage and rice’(several times) – pear salad and blue cheese – Thai black sticky rice with mango.
Love your recipes, thank you
I am so happy for you. What a wonderful and well deserved accomplishment!
Love your dishes that can make and prepare ahead of time to freeze for later. Please keep your detail and optional ingredients. Love your recipes, can’t wait to buy the cookbook.
I have saved so many of your recipes that I have not had time to try yet. 3 of my most favorite that immediately come to mind are
Asian chicken marinade
Beer battered fish
Chicken enchiladas
These have become family and friend’s favorites.
I love that you are putting together a cookbook. I enjoy reading recipes like a book and I have never been disappointed by any of yours. I still laugh that, as a Texas, my favorite enchiladas come from my favorite Asian Australian cook
I would appreciate recipes for weeknight meals.
I enjoy your recipes and posts more than most others.
I would purchase this book for myself and friends. As soon as I see recipestineats in my inbox, I get excited. All the way from Pennsylvania USA!
I would like a section for quick, healthy, and easy recipes for non-cooks like me but don’t sacrifice taste. Also, recipes with a short list of ingredients that are readily available. Thanks, Nagi. Love your site and love how detailed your instructions are with clear instructions, videos. ingredient substitutions, etc.
Would love some quick and easy, family-friendly vegetarian meals (I’m not currently vegetarian but trying to head that way for health reasons). But really, whatever you put in this I will make, regardless, as your recipes are the best!
I’ve made soo many of your recipes I’m always happy to try (almost) any of your recipes.
My ask is for pictures of every finished dish.
Also liked suggestion that asked for recipes for two.
How exciting! I would love a section on core dishes that can, say, be done on the weeekend and then turned into a few different dishes over the following weeknights when you get home from work with hungry kids and little time to cook something completely from scratch.
Great news and congratulations! How lucky are we to belong to such a good fun, as well as great recipe, site! Dozer looks like he is going to be very happy if the book cover shows the food he so loves! Vegetarian recipes would be good to see in your book – Vegetable Satay in particular, for me. All the best in sifting through all the requests you will receive for your book.
So excited about the upcoming cookbook! I would love to see a really good thick new England clam chowder! I hope all the explanations you do on website will be in the cookbook! Chicken recipes
I would love to see your lemon tart recipe in the cookbook! Thanks
Big congrats Nagi. I have made practically all your recipes and have to say my picky husband is in love with it.. Maybe you can add some island recipes from Mauritius. My mum used to make ” Rougai poisson” , it’s salted cod fish cooked in a tomato sauce, serve on bed of plain basmati rice. All the best and keep up with the amazing recipes & getting everyone in very in YOUR BOOK.
Cheers..
