SURPRISE! I’ve signed a contract for a RecipeTin cookbook! But this won’t be just another cookbook……This is going to be a cookbook filled with new recipes YOU ask for.

Let’s make this cookbook OURS!

RecipeTin Eats Cookbook Announcement

PS That’s just a mock cover!!

Finally – a cookbook!

This is real – a RecipeTin cookbook is happening! I’m committed – I can’t back out, I’ve signed a publishing contract with Pan Macmillan, a big name publishing house here in Australia.

Excited, nervous, daunted, scared…. all these words come to mind as I sit here, preparing myself for what will be the the most important and biggest project I have ever undertaken in my professional life.

Which brings me to the main purpose of sharing this news….

I want to make this cookbook WITH you, FOR you!

Let’s fill these pages with recipes YOU want! Mostly new, but even some favourites from the website!

RecipeTin Eats Cookbook Announcement

I’m going to be completely honest with you. I am under no illusion about how much work it will take to make a cookbook.

So for me to make this cookbook for myself, because, well, you know, it is kind of an ego boost to see your name on a printed book. That’s not enough motivation for me. I don’t deserve it! 😂

If, on the other hand, I make it for you…….. now THAT is what I call motivation. That gets me excited. That is what will give me the incentive to give this cookbook everything I’ve got, to make it the best it can be.

I want to make a cookbook that you will actually use all the time, rather than gathering dust on the bookshelf.

So tell me what you want in our cookbook! What type of recipes, even little details like adding nutrition information, storage and make ahead tips, or key dietary notes (like gluten free).

They will mostly be new recipes that are exclusively made for the cookbook though I will also include some long standing reader favourites from the website!

Let’s make this cookbook together. Leave your cookbook wish list in the comments section below!!

– Nagi x

PS Reminder – this cover is a fake!! 😂 You know full well I am going to ask for your opinion when choosing the real cover. ❤️

Life of Dozer

I know today’s big announcement is all about me, me, me. But that’s no excuse to skip a Dozer update! Here he is, disrespecting my cookbook already. Or possibly just thinks the photo is real food. It could be either. 🙄

Dozer sniffing RecipeTin Eats cookbook mock up

Though he has already expressed he is willing and able to help in any way possible with the cookbook. Thanks Dozer! We all know what your “help” involves….

I’m so thrilled, Nagi! How exciting it must be for you!! My advice would be to fill the book with the types of recipes that seem to be popular on your website. Include a balance of mains, sides, veggies, and desserts, and, please, include the nutrition information and tips. They are so helpful!! I live in a fairly rural area in the U.S., so I know there are some folks who don’t have easy access to more “exotic” ingredients. Perhaps that would be a consideration? But, again, I would go with the types of recipes that people keep coming back to again and again on your site. Best wishes on your success with a hug for you and one for Dozer, too!

This is amazing! I will most definitely buy a book when you’ve finished it!

A big vote for the nutrition panel. My youngest child has type 1 diabetes so it’s vital we get his carb count per meal spot on so we know how much insulin to give him, nutrition panels help so much with this!

As for recipe requests- curries (my favourite is a chicken panang curry) and your Thai peanut satay is amazing!

Oh Nagi that is the best news! I would love to see a chapter or a book on all the long slow roasted meats. I have boys in my house who are big meat eaters, and your recipes make me look good! I’ve made them slow roasted ribs that got ‘best ribs ever’ and your roast lamb is divine. Your recipes are amazing and definitely my default when trying something new.

Nagi!! This is awesome, congratulations!! I can not wait to get a copy once it’s published!! I’ve loved your recipes forever and have made almost everything in your website (otherwise my family would have starved by now!! 😝). My absolute fave is chicken burritos with your flatbread recipe and avo dip!! We have them almost weekly (hot tip, I use black rice and mix EVERYTHING in the pot when it’s all finished (including grated cheese) and then just spoon that into the flatbread before the oven. So so good! New recipe? Are there any you haven’t done?! 😝 Mississippi Mud Pie?? Mole Poblano (Monte Zumas copycat) and their Queso Fundido recipe?? Thank you so much for adding truly amazing food into our lives!! And thanks for the laughs too, Dozer 💖🙏💖

So so happy and excited for you!! Congratulations!!

The only thing I really hope for in a cookbook is a photo for every recipe!! If there is no photo of what the food looks like, I probably will never bother to make it. 😅

Congratulations! This is wonderful news! I would love to see French fries, Nagi-style. Please have coconut rice and any rifts off of that – Asian sticky rice, Mexican rice, etc. One of my favorites is your creamy mushroom pasta, so I have to throw in a vote for that. And, your salads & Asian dishes – OMG, I’m getting so excited to see what you come up with. And, of course, you MUST have loads of pictures of Mr. Dozer in all his glory! Nagi, It will be amazing & much loved because it will be by you!

OMG! I just commented to pls put together a recipe book and just like a fairy godmother ( even better i think!) You are indeed gonna release one !!!!! Yippee!!!! I have tried most of your recipes and they always get a clean plate treatment after it is served. Excited for the new recipes but hoping my fortnight date with pork belly crackling and brioche will make it to publishing!
P.S. dietary info and Dozer”s paws Up would be a bonus!
Thank you for your passion and sharing all that love to us!

I think a collection of your recipes where the recipe itself may not be of something new or unseen, but where you have shown us a method or technique that makes it easy/fool proof! I’m thinking particularly of your slow cooked roast pork because I just made it recently to great success but I know there are many more!
